StyleEase Software (http://www.styleease.com ) has announced the release of a major update to its flagship product, StyleEase for APA Style. According to company Gary Hillerson, "We've now made it a LOT easier for students and professors to cite online sources. We offer an extensive menu of online source types, including wikis, blogs, video and audio sites, and so on, all formatted according to the latest APA Manual addendum on online sources."

"This release," added Hillerson, "is the biggest update we've released in several years; it includes an overhaul of our database, changes in the user interface to make online citations easier, and code updates to fix minor problems found in the past nine months." As always, StyleEase product updates are free (for life) to registered users, who can visit the web site to request a downloadable update to their software.

StyleEase has also updated its support offerings to include a searchable online knowledge base that contains answers to all of the questions commonly asked by existing and prospective users of its products: http://www.styleease.com/SupportSearch.html.

And StyleEase Software has also made it easier to find its products online, including availability from academic distributor and booksellers MBS Direct, Journey Ed, Academic Superstore, and Academic Wholesale.

StyleEase products automate the process of writing academic papers and bibliographies in specific styles, including APA (American Psychological Association) style, MLA (Modern Language Association) style, Chicago/Turabian style, and Seminary style. StyleEase is integrated into Microsoft Word, and frees students to focus on their content, without having to learn how complex formatting and citation rules.

StyleEase Software, LLC started in 1990, as a result of its founders discovering a real need for software to help college students writing their theses and dissertations in APA style. "There was just nothing out there to help students with all the minute details of paper formatting," said Hillerson, who created the original version to help with his own thesis. Seventeen years later, StyleEase has been completely rewritten into a well-regarded and highly successful product that is stocked in campus bookstores nationwide.

StyleEase products are available for immediate download at http://www.styleease.com. Educators can receive free copies for their own use, campus bookstores can purchase at a substantial discount, and institutions can easily set up a free, 25% discount coupon for students to use in the StyleEase store.
