Danforth Diamond, the engagement ring experts, is launching an online sweepstakes beginning Tuesday, September 23, 2008. One lucky winner will receive a 14k white gold diamond and sapphire stack ring set.

"The prize is truly beautiful," said Jill Renee, president of Danforth Diamond. "The two rings can be stacked together, worn separately, or stacked with other rings making them very versatile." The first ring holds six blue sapphires and five diamonds. The second ring completes the look with eleven blue sapphires. Both rings are 3 mm 14k white gold. The diamonds have a color of G-H and a clarity rating of SI.

As a symbol of Danforth Diamond's commitment to socially- and environmentally-responsible jewelry, the company chose this ring set because it was produced with recycled metals and conflict-free diamonds and sapphires. The majority (90%) of the jewelry collection on Danforth Diamond's website is made from recycled precious metals as noted on the site by the Harmony Recycled Precious Metals logo.

To promote the sweepstakes, Danforth Diamond partnered with Women's World magazine. Jill Renee explained, "Our customers run the gamut - from men purchasing engagement rings and couples looking for wedding jewelry to gift buyers and women buying jewelry for themselves. This particular ring set is more gift appropriate so we thought we'd use it for the sweepstakes in Women's World."
