Co-owner and President David AvRutick explains, "As a company we feel it is important to do more than just make high quality kayaks and seek profits. We launched 'Paddle With A Purpose' to help support the fight against breast cancer, which affects so many people's lives. Our own wives, daughters, co-workers and friends were our inspiration for this initiative."

Folbot offers a full line of high quality, 100% U.S.-made folding kayaks. A Folbot kayak has several advantages over a rigid kayak: it is easy to store, can be checked as luggage on a plane or kept in the trunk of a car, and they are very stable and extremely quiet on the water. The Folbot line features eight models priced from $1,094 to $2,595, to meet a wide variety of paddlers' needs.

The company's newest kayak - the Citibōt - weighs only 24 lbs and fits in a backpack. Citibot has been most popular in urban markets, among paddlers with limited storage and with a growing number of people interested in stowing a kayak in their car - ready for spontaneous trips.

All Folbots come with a lifetime warranty and are sold online at Folbot or by phone (800.533.5099). Folbot has a long history of rugged durability, and its kayaks are paddled worldwide.

About Folbot
Folbot, the world's longest continuously producing folding kayak manufacturer, was founded in England in 1933. It became the first North American manufacturer of folding kayaks when it relocated to New York in 1935 and finally settled in Charleston, SC, its current home, in 1953. Known for its quality manufacturing and lifetime warranty, Folbot now offers eight models to accommodate all varieties of paddlers and uses. All Folbots are warranted for life and handcrafted and made in the USA.
