Red Clay Interactive was awarded the 2008 Bronze Search Engine Optimization award at the International Mobile Search Awards in London. The award, given by Visiongain, recognizes the best in the world for mobile searching.

Visiongain, one of the fastest growing and most innovative independent media companies in Europe, awarded Red Clay Interactive the 2008 Bronze Search Engine Optimization award during their recent International Mobile Search Awards in London. UK-based Guava and India-based Puretech Internet Pvt. LTD took the Gold and Silver awards, respectively.

With the popularity of smart phones, searching the Internet from a mobile phone is gaining prominence throughout the US and Western Europe. According to a recent report by comScore, almost 21 million U.S. and 4.5 million European wireless subscribers searched from their mobile phones in June of 2008 alone. This equates to a 68% and 38% increase, respectively, from the previous year.
