InventHelp®, America's largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Albuquerque, N.M., has designed a hand-held food slicer that incorporates sharp blades to roll over vegetables and meats to make food preparation easier. This invention is patented.

The "Chili Chopper" would facilitate chopping chilis as well as meats and other vegetables. The invention would feature and easily stored, compact design and be easy to operate. Ideal for both individual and professional use, the utensil would be time saving and incorporate a safety and comfort-enhancing feature.

The Chili Chopper would consist of a plastic handle and safety guard and two stainless steel cutting wheels. The invention would measure approximately 10-inches long, 3-inches wide and 1-inch thick. The handle would feature a small decal of a chili pepper as well as a ridged texture to enhance comfort for the user. The safety guard would curve from the end of the handle upward and over the round cutting wheel. Each cutting wheel would consist of approximately nine blades. One wheel would feature a blade spaced ¼-inch apart and the other blades would be ½-inch apart. To use, an individual would place the desired cutting wheel in place and slide a pin through the center, which would attach it to the handle. The accessory would operate by the individual rolling the wheel back and forth over the food, using the handle for leverage. To change the cutting wheel, the individual would slide the pin out, change the wheel and slide the pin back in place.
