Hoboken, NJ (PRWEB) September 25, 2008
Adobe has announced its plans to release a new version of its wildly popular graphic and web design software suite--Creative Suite 4, and John Wiley & Sons, Inc., publisher of the For Dummies, Sybex and Visual imprints among others, is planning to offer 30 titles to help users--from novice to seasoned pros--get up to speed on everything Adobe CS4 has to offer.
The titles offered will be released between September 2008 and March 2009, and will assist users at all skill levels through a variety of learning approaches. Visual branded books on Photoshop CS4, Dreamweaver CS4 and Flash CS4 Professional will combine clear, step-by-step screen shots with minimal text, and are the ultimate tutorials for visual learners who want to avoid lengthy explanations and jump right in. Readers of the For Dummies series will appreciate a generous lineup that includes ten new titles presented in the plain-English, humorous style that has defined the For Dummies series for fifteen years. Intermediate to advanced professional users will benefit from the comprehensive Bible references for each of the individual programs and their respective Suites. New editions of fan favorites by Tim Grey, Photoshop CS4 Workflow: The Digital Photographer's Guide; Ellen Anon, Photoshop CS4 for Nature Photographers: A Workshop in a Book; and Al Ward, Photoshop For Right-Brainers: The Art of Photomanipulation, 3rd Edition, will also be available from Sybex.
New to the title list are books in the Digital Classroom series. The new series combines a full-color, step-by-step instructional book with lesson files and video training on DVD. These tutorials, which complement the topics covered in the book, were developed by the same team of Adobe Certified Instructors that created many of the official training titles for Adobe Systems.
Photoshop CS4 After the Shoot is another new title authored by Mark Fitzgerald, the founder and operator of The Digital Darkroom, a post-production digital photography training facility that offers workshops, one-on-one training, digital post-production services, and consulting. Photoshop CS4 After the Shoot will provide on-the-go photographers who need to edit in the field, with a firm understanding of the application's tools and features, but will especially provide a strong education in using after capture software to create an efficient workflow. Photoshop CS4 After the Shoot will be published in a laptop bag friendly 6" x 9" trim size, and will be a great full-color tutorial for photographers who want the ability to edit their photos on a laptop wherever the shoot takes them.
