When you log onto, your eyes immediately go to the photo of two dogs dubbed Mr. Crash and Mr. Boo, to whom the site is dedicated to. The site's proprietors, Michelle Wright and Mike Mann, used their undying love for the late pets as the inspiration for opening their business.

"Crash and Boo passed away a few months prior to starting this business," said Mann. "We knew right away that this is something we wanted to do and the focus needed to be on dogs."

When the website eventually launched earlier this summer, people were met with a cornucopia of different pet products, such as carriers, beds and clothes, all of which are at affordable prices. "Our site is based on the important necessities for dogs and their owners," said Wright. "It's what we think is cute and fun, but also practical."

"The site shows that we genuinely care about dogs," added Mann. "It's more than just a website, but a dedication to our favorite four-legged friends."

Not only is there a memoriam for Crash and Boo, but the friends encourage their customers and other dog lovers to send them photos and stanzas about their deceased pets. "Eventually we will be adding a page where customers can post their very own memoriam to their dog," said Mann.

An expansion is currently taking place in which Doggie Supplies Online will have personalized t-shirts available for customers to display their very own photos and/or captions of their favorite canines.

The site has recently added a blog to their webstore in the form of "We want people to log on and blog about their pets and their experiences, including advice they've gotten from their vets or other pet owners that could possibly help others who are looking for the same type of information" said Wright.

"Like the website, we want the blog to be an interactive venue," explained Mann.
