Arena Racing USA, the nation's premier indoor stock car sport, announced today that it plans to sell its remaining interest in Arena Racing USA Charlotte License operations, consistent with the corporate strategy to focus on national License expansion and corporate operations.

Arena Racing USA announced today that it plans to sell the remaining interest in Arena Racing USA-Charlotte to focus corporate efforts on the continued development and national expansion to cities across the U.S. This national expansion process is being enhanced and expedited through its previously announced partnerships with Global Entertainment Corporation (Amex: GEE) and TAG/Brand. In the near future, Arena Racing USA will announce expansion plans for the 2009/10 season which could include launches in up to five additional cities. "Expansion plans require continued focus on market development, license support, league development and internal operations, and therefore it is essential Arena Racing USA focus its resources on these efforts", said Bob Keane, CEO of Arena Racing USA.

Based upon the expansion success and acceptance of Arena Racing USA nationally, it is very important for the company to focus on supporting its current customers and further development of the National Championship series in the upcoming years. In this regard, Arena Racing USA, depending on the outcomes of negotiations over the coming months, will make a final decision on a delayed opening for the 3rd season or the potential postponement until the following year. "We plan and are making every effort to continue the indoor racing tradition we started in Charlotte.
