Web Marketing Association Commends SilverTech's Work
Websites show creativity and innovation.
Hartford, CT (PRWEB) September 29, 2008 -- Two websites designed by SilverTech have been recognized for excellence in the Web Marketing Association's 2008 WebAward competition.
More than 2,400 sites from 45 countries were adjudicated in 96 industry categories during this year's website development competition. Entries were judged on design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology.
The site that SilverTech designed for the New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development, www.visitnh.gov, received the Association's Government Standard of Excellence Award as one of the best government websites.
A site designed for up and coming franchisor Pizza Fusion, www.pizzafusion.com, was named an Outstanding Website in the Restaurants category.
"The entries this year continued to show impressive creativity and technical innovation," said William Rice, president of the Web Marketing Association. "While some companies are constantly improving their web efforts in small ways, others are making incredible leaps ahead. The WebAwards showcase the work of Internet professionals and set the standard for the entire industry."
The competition was judged by a team of independent Internet professionals representing a variety of relevant disciplines of website development. Judges included members of the media, advertising executives, site designers, creative directors, corporate marketing executives, content providers and webmasters.
