It's all detachable and it allows you to move about freely

Don Roden has something unique to offer people. A bag. Don't be fooled, however, as Roden's website, http://www.DiamondBarTDesigns.com, offers several styles of bags, all of which are well made, but it's Roden's Saddlebag Harness that proves to be the diamond of his site.
"It's all detachable and it allows you to move about freely," said Roden of the Saddlebag. "It's two bags together. You can walk, talk on a phone, eat a sandwich and carry two bags. It creates a hands-free environment."
Diamond Bar T began as an idea over three years ago and as time went on, Roden did a multitude of research and eventually launched the website in July 2008. Now with his webstore ready for viewing and bags ready to sell, Roden is finding ways to make traveling with bags easier.
"My bags use an integrated modular system," he said. "It allows you to carry several items in an organized fashion. The Saddlebag Harness, for example, has a passport pocket. There are also leather strap keepers that will support your cell phone, iPod, and eyeglass or sunglass cases."
Even with a solid catalog, Roden continues to build upon the products he's offering: "I'm working with a guy in Argentina to do some accessories. I'll have leather passport covers, checkbook covers, credit card wallets - both large and small. I really want to have items that will complement the bags."
Additionally, Roden also has a blog (http://www.LeatherBriefcaseBlog.com) that has informational posts that run in conjunction with his website. Topics such as the features, benefits and care of leather will be the featured articles on the blog.
Seeing the need of people who travel carrying several bags, Don Roden has developed a products that are well-made, handmade and, best of all, affordable. He sees a bag like the Saddlebag Harness a necessity, especially at a time when airlines are charging for the luggage travelers check-in, as well as having limitations on the amount of carry-on bags.
"The airlines consider the Saddlebag one bag," Roden said. "And honestly, the bag works so effortlessly. It's really something I stand behind."
