GMI Ranks 13th in the 2008 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for Washington State: Company Grows by 1,096 Percent from 2003 to 2007

Deloitte yesterday announced the rankings of its annual Technology Fast 50 for the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Washington State. GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), a provider of global respondent panels and services for the market research industry, is ranked 13th on the list this year, with a five-year revenue growth by 1,096 percent (2003-2007). This is the fourth consecutive year GMI has made this prestigious list.

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2003 and $5,000,000 in 2007, be headquartered in North America, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.
