Diecast Cars Classic proprietor, Jim Muratori, grew up with a love of early era cars. Now helming his own business, Muratori is bringing the classics back into homes with beautifully-made diecast models.

Jim Muratori has a love and a fascination of classic automobiles that is only held up by the most diehard car enthusiast. When it came time to take the plunge into being an independent business owner, Muratori decided to go with model cars.

"I have a love for antique cars that stems from my father -- he was a big inspiration," said Muratori. He set up and launched http://www.DiecastCarsClassic.com in July 2008.

The webstore's focus is on early era cars through the 1950's. "I love old cars, like the 1930's Deusenbergs and Packards," said Muratori. "The cars back then were more refined."

Like the cars that he sells on his site, Muratori has carefully crafted Diecast Cars Classic, making it easy to navigate through. "Throughout this process of building my business, I got to learn how to handle my website better. I'm also adding the histories of the brands on the appropriate webpages," explained Muratori.

Diecast Cars Classic will soon have more histories to upload, as Muratori plans to expand the brands that are on his site: "I'm looking to add cars like the Pierce Arrows from the 1930's. I would also like to add some Rolls Royces, too."

While cars continue to drive their way into the HTML codes on the site, Muratori has also launched a blog (http://www.DiecastCarsBlog.com) in conjunction with his store, which will further feature his love of automobiles.

"I will write about anything that deals with diecast cars themselves," Muratori said. "I will be going to the Concours D'Elegance Barrington car show in Arlington Park, IL in October and I plan to have pictures from it on the blog. They will show how beautiful these older cars are, and I hope to have some replicas on the website."

Though his site is still in its infancy, Jim Muratori has allowed it to grow naturally, adding beautiful cars that look like cars and not real-life cartoons. Styles and trends will change, but there's a level of innocence that is reflected in the models on Diecast Cars Classic and, in many ways, they serve as a reminder of how great those early automobiles were.
