Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) September 30, 2008
The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the popular radio show, "Inside the ABA," will return to VoiceAmerica Sports (http://www.voiceamerica.com) in October. The show, hosted by Robby Kendall, will feature Joe Newman, ABA CEO; Quentin Townsend, ABA President; and ABA team owners and coaches in the one hour interview format.
"We are very pleased to be back on VoiceAmerica Sports; Robby Kendall did an excellent job of preparation and hosting and the show really does get deep inside the ABA," said Newman. "The calls and emails we got from the show were terrific - the reach is worldwide, their coverage is tremendous. The whole VoiceAmerica network is quite amazing, truly one of the best Web sports networks in the world."
"And we are also very pleased that we will be including a weekly feature about the World Basketball Cup (http://www.worldbasketballcup.com) as the WBC is building huge worldwide momentum. The WBC will feature professional basketball teams from throughout the world in a tournament to be held in Atlanta in late July/August, 2010," added Townsend. "We believe the worldwide audience will be tremendous also."
"We are very pleased to have the ABA coming back," stated Jeff Spenard, President of Internet Radio. "It was one of our highest rated sports shows because it was so fresh and new and lively each week. The ABA has so many teams in so many different cities. Fans, players, coaches really enjoy the lively conversation and inside scoop." For more information, visit http://www.abalive.com, http://www.voiceamerica.com, or http://www.worldbasketballcup.com.
