Raise Awareness for Ovarian Cancer

New York, NY (PRWEB) September 30, 2008 -- As September, National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, comes to a close, L'Oréal Paris is urging women to learn about the disease. As the leading cause of gynecologic cancer death in the U.S., it is imperative that women are educated on ovarian cancer, including its signs and symptoms. In honor of the 22,000 women diagnosed each year, L'Oréal Paris is encouraging 22,000 people to visit www.lorealcolorofhope.com to learn about the disease.

In addition to raising much needed awareness and research funding for the disease, L'Oréal Paris has also developed fundraising and awareness products including the Color of Hope Cosmetics Bag and the beautiful Hope Necklace designed by Philip Crangi.

Since 1997, L'Oréal Paris has led the fight and has helped to raise more than $14 million for the cause.
