Two-Day Educational Housing Conference

The Timber Frame Business Council is proud to announce it's first Regional Business Education Conference to be held at the Hilton Burlington Hotel in Burlington, Vermont March 6-7, 2008. These seminars are designed to provide great value for anyone in the construction industry.

The theme of the conference will focus and address various business issues that they don't feel comfortable with and don't have the expertise to understand.

How to Create Your Unique Company Culture
Some of the country's leading business experts and consultants will address the following topics: Managing human resources, Contracts as risk management tools, Fringe benefits, Risk mapping, Workers compensation, Job costing and pricing, Selling Your Business to Your Employees: How It Is Done and What's In It for You and Your Employees, Business evaluations, Transitions, Employee recruitment & retention, Managing cash flow, Rolling sales forecasts, Optimizing software solutions, and Financing projects.

All of the above topics and others will be discussed as part of a two-day housing conference conducted by the Timber Frame Business Council. The upcoming Business Educational Conference will be conducted on March 6-7, 2008, at the Hilton Burlington Hotel in Burlington, VT.

A total of fourteen speakers will be presenting during the event. Due to the assortment of topics that will be covered, two simultaneous presentations will be going at one time, so that attendees can select a topic of specific interest. Attendees will also be able to visit a variety of tabletop displays from sponsors and spend time networking with other attendees. Architects and designers will also be able to attend a special program on timber framing and structural insulated panels to earn CEU credits. One of the conference highlights will be a luncheon program, presented by a speaker from Ben & Jerry's discussing "How to Create Your Unique Company Culture".
