Paula Duffy & Sports Journey Broadcast on ESPN to Debut in Maryland January 7
Duffy adds daily drive-time spot as National Correspondent to co-host role for weekend edition of Sports Journey broadcast on ESPN.
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) January 7, 2008 -- Paula Duffy, sports talk radio co-host for the weekend edition of Sports Journey Radio formerly broadcast on ESPN Florida, announced today that she will once again be expanding her responsibilities with the Sports Journey Radio Network by joining the team once a week in drive-time as the show launches as a daily on ESPN Maryland (WCEM 1240 AM).
Lake Lewis, Jr., CEO and producer of Sports Journey broadcast on ESPN, stated that the show, dedicated to bringing listeners “serious sports talk for the serious fan,” will debut January 7, 2008 on Maryland’s Delmarva ESPN Radio 1240 AM. In addition to the Monday through Friday show broadcast from 4pm -7pm ET, Sports Journey Radio, the National Weekend Show, will air Saturday's from 8am - 11am ET, on 1240 Maryland after moving from its weekend-only slot on ESPN Florida.
Duffy, a former corporate lawyer with Sony Electronics and Vivendi Games and sports analyst in high media demand, provides a unique West Coast point-of-view and legal perspective to the East Coast based program and has earned quite a following for her brand of wit and sports wisdom since joining the Sports Journey team in June of 2006. In addition to her responsibilities as co-host and National Correspondent, Duffy writes a weekly column, “My Weekly Sports Journey”, which can be read on the show’s website (www.sportsjourney.com).
