Huckabee Wins Votes in Iowa, Hillary Rallies in New Hampshire; Not on Survive '08

Survive '08, the Web's newest spot for all your 2008 political information with a "Survivor" twist, banished Republican candidate Mike Huckabee last week -- despite his recent victory at the Iowa State Caucus - and Democratic candidate Joe Biden, who announced following the Iowa primary that he was dropping out of the race. The current frontrunners on the Web site, Mitt Romney (R) and Barack Obama (D), both fell short in Tuesday's New Hampshire primary.

Vienna, Va. (PRWEB) January 10, 2008 -- The ability to endure an online game of political survivor may not necessarily transfer to the real life game of political races - or does it?

Survive '08 (www.survive08.com), the Web's newest spot for all 2008 political information and creator of an online polling system that gauges public opinion on the 2008 race, has released the results of their most recent banishment that took place at 12:00 PM EST last Thursday night.

As the candidates campaigned in Iowa, Survive '08 tallied the 8,075 votes from this round of voting and the results were: Huckabee wasn't in Iowa anymore, and Joe Biden bit the dust.

This third round of voting began on December 18, 2007 and concluded January 6, 2008. The fourth round of voting began January 7 and will conclude on January 16 at 12:00 PM EST.

Based on preliminary reports from political pundits, both Hillary Clinton and John McCain had almost been written off for victory in Tuesday's New Hampshire primary. Their comebacks go to show that the races for party nomination have only just begun.

The current Survive '08 frontrunners, Romney (R) and Obama (D), both finished in second place in New Hampshire. For full results, visit http://www.survive08.com/recap.html.

Survive '08 also features weekly opinion polls, political and debate information, as well as a "Help Me Decide" tool which gauges which candidate best deserves your vote based on your views. The site plans to continue to be a source for information and fun until the 2008 elections.
