Northwest Computer Support Appoints Vice President of Managed Services

Fast-Growth solution provider names Rex Frank to new role of vice president canaged services, enhances services focus.

Tukwila, WA (PRWEB) January 23, 2008 -- Local IT solution provider Northwest Computer Support (NWCS) today announced it has appointed Rex Frank as the company's new vice president of managed services. The executive position is a first for NWCS and marks the company's initial expansion of its core service capabilities.

As Vice President of Managed Services Frank reports to the CEO and is responsible for establishing and executing against NWCS' ongoing proactive IT services strategy. In this new role, Frank oversees the planning and development of NWCS' new suite of services which will include proactive managed services, business continuity, disaster recovery, unified communications and print management. He is also tasked with expanding the company's existing proactive maintenance offerings and engaging with clients to identify additional IT services needs.

Frank comes to NWCS with more than 20 years of experience within the IT industry and a successful track record for innovation and technology prowess. Prior to joining NWCS, he served as the Chief Technology Officer for Orange County-based managed services pioneer Alvaka Networks. During his 19 year tenure, Frank was responsible for developing Alvaka Networks' branded services suites which included onsite professional IT services, advanced network monitoring and administration services, as well as a complete lineup of network security administration and management offerings.

Frank's experience also includes proven proficiency in developing business continuity and disaster recover plans, performing detailed business technology assessments and orchestrating robust system roll outs for small to mid-size businesses and enterprises. He maintains a number of high-profile certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), as well as ITIL Foundations.

In December 2007, Frank, along with his wife Michelle and five-year old son Steven, relocated from Orange County to Sumner, Washington to be closer to their family. He started working with NWCS on January 2, 2008.
