Fort Lauderdale, FL Gael Barney, company founder of Bebe International, Inc., a company specializing in multicultural baby and children's products, was recently invited by style guru Jayneoni Moore to participate in the invitation only celebrity gifting event benefiting Project Apple. Project Apple gives the gift of reading to children living in poverty; donations were given at the door upon entry to the suites.

This year at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, celebrity Moms and Dads attended the "Boom Boom Room" Celebrity Gifting Suite which was held for 2 days on January 11th and 12th. Celebrities, media and stylists came out to this exclusive event to see the hottest items for babies and big kids. According to Jayneoni Moore, "The Boom Boom Room was the best event of the weekend! Many celebs even skipped other suites and only attended The Boom Boom Room!"

Bebe International, Inc.,was selected to showcase its multicultural and Mom-created products including FlashMe Baby flashcards, Eau Bebe Roll-on Scent for Little Girls, the Bellikin, and E-Z Burpie. The flashcards were designed to stimulate baby's vision from birth as sight is not yet developed. The high contrast cards can be hung on a mobile or shown to the infant to stimulate vision. As the baby grows, he or she can learn four different languages including English, French, Spanish, and Italian. Additionally, tots can use washable crayons to draw, wipe and then draw again while on the go. The Eau Bebe roll-on was designed for the worlds' most discriminating little princesses who want perfume like Mommy. Each roll on has no alcohol, only essential oils and rolls on without making a mess everywhere. Also featured were mom-created products the E-Z Burpie, which clips to Mom to avoid the burp cloth falling out of place or on the floor when out and about, and the Bellikin, an alternative to a bib for big kids that clips onto clothing. As Kim McKay, Bebe International's own Mom-inventor says "Bibs are for babies, Bellikinsä are for big kids."

Bebe International is unique in that shoppers can become familiar with numerous customs and religions while discovering traditional gifts given in various cultures to celebrate occasions such as the birth of a new baby as well as other celebrations throughout childhood - all in one place. "The reaction to the products that we introduced was wonderful with many attendees attracted to the environmental aspect of the flashcards, as well as the ingenuity of the Eau Bebe roll-on, the E-Z Burpie and the Bellikin," said Gael Barney, company founder.
