Two Columbus Bachelors to Appear on February First 'Matchmaking' Episode of Oprah

(PRWEB) January 30, 2008 -- After 150 failed first dates, Oprah and two Columbus men help a Cincinnati woman examine her dating faux pas through the lens of a camera.

WHAT:   Columbus match-making service "Dating Directions" will host an open-to-the-public viewing party of the Oprah episode which features their clients Rich and Dan. These two Columbus Bachelors go on dates with a dating-challenged Cincinnati woman.

WHEN:   Friday, February 1st at 6 PM - 9 PM. Screening will be at 7:30 PM.

WHO:   Bachelors Rich, local Subway franchise owner and Oprah "bachelor" number one, and Dan, Aviation Specialist and Oprah "bachelor" number two, will be on-site to provide additional commentary on the experience. Dating Directions founders, Susie Hardesty and Elizabeth Cobey-Piper will also be available for interviews.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

On The Oprah Show's February first episode, no stone will be left unturned as Oprah and crew, along with America's toughest matchmaker, Patti Novak, will dive in to diagnose the dating ailments of a Cincinnati woman who allegedly cannot make it past the first date. Thanks to the help of local match-making company, Dating Directions, two Columbus "catches" were volunteered to film a date with the woman to help diagnose her dating disorders.

The viewing party will offer attendees a chance to catch the show while having some TGIF fun. The party will also benefit Dating Directions charity of choice, the Central Ohio Chapter of the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA).
