San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 6, 2008 -- EMS- Intelligent Chaos is honored to be selected as Oracle's 2008 recipient of "The SOA Integration Solution" award presented at the Oracle North America Excellence Award ceremony at Oracle OpenWorld last night. The Oracle Excellence Awards recognizes organizations for innovative deployments of Oracle Fusion Middleware.

The award acknowledges an Oracle partner that has shown exemplary demonstration of their Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) expertise through a customized and unique solution enabling measured customer return on investment and clear user satisfaction. Excellence Awards were given to 18 clients and leading partners in several categories for SOA solutions and best practices delivered in fiscal 2008.

We're pleased to see that more customers and implementation partners are adopting Oracle Fusion Middleware to extend their Oracle Application investments.

WVU's SOA-based solution is an Adobe Flex-based front-end developed to allow submission and administration of leave requests. Custom e-Business Suite functions are exposed as web services, and deployed to Oracle's SOA Suite. BPEL workflows are used to handle sophisticated processes that otherwise would have proven to be a challenge to orchestrate. Additionally, Oracle's Web Services Manager is used to handle security, ensuring a scalable, auditable solution.
