The Solar Center, Inc., the provider of solar electric and solar thermal energy systems for commercial and residential electricity generation, has announced four high-profile additions to its senior management. John Bailye joins The Solar Center as Chairman of the Board, Russell Diamond as Treasurer of the Board, Richard Klein as Secretary and Shannon Whitworth Kayen as the President. Their experience and abilities expand an already strong management team with decades of experience in the global technology, finance, and solar integration business.
John Bailye founded Dendrite Corporation in 1985. Dendrite International grew to $450 million in sales revenue, with 3,500 employees. Dendrite International was publicly listed on NASDAQ (DRTE). Mr. Bailye has been an active investor in a variety of projects since 1986 and has been on the TSC board since early 2008.

Richard Klein joins The Solar Center as a board member and corporate secretary. Mr. Klein is the CEO and Founder of Quixotic Systems Inc., a New York City based solar systems integrator. Quixotic Systems has built and designed some of New York City's largest and most innovative solar systems. Mr. Klein has been an early-stage investor in several renewable energy companies, including Q-Cells AG (which had a successful IPO in 2005 and is now the world's largest independent manufacturer of solar cells), Prism Solar, Solaria Corporation, Clear Skies Group, Own Energy, Tri-State Biodiesel, and Aerocity.

Russell Diamond joins The Solar Center as a board member. Mr. Diamond is the founder and General Partner of Solution Capital Partners, a fund in the clean energy/environmental finance sector. Since 2006 he has been General Partner of R&D Capital Partners, a clean energy fund which invests in private funds and makes direct investments. He is a member of the Investment Committee of E+Co, which received the Financial Times 2008 Sustainable Investor of the Year award. Mr. Diamond is a member of the Westport (Connecticut) Green Energy Task Force.

Shannon Whitworth Kayen is appointed President of The Solar Center. Ms. Kayen brings to The Solar Center extensive strategic and operations expertise as well as organizational development experience. Ms. Kayen previously held the position of Design Consultant, at Akeena Solar as their founder of the east coast operation.
