New York, NY (PRWEB) October 2, 2008
Upromise, the largest private source of college funding contributions in America, has announced a partnership with RevTrax, who will provide merchants with the ability to drive in-store sales on a pay-for-performance basis with over 9 million Upromise members.
Through RevTrax's proprietary tracking system, consumers will be able to save money with special offers and make purchases at participating RevTrax/Upromise partners using cash, checks, credit or debit cards, or any other payment method and earn Upromise college savings.
Consumers will be able to visit Upromise.com and print an in-store coupon or send an offer to their mobile phones. Consumers then present the coupon or show the mobile phone to the cashier. The uniquely generated barcode is then scanned and data is sent back to RevTrax and Upromise for processing and reporting.
"Our technology connects online advertising to in-store purchases, which is an incredibly powerful tool for merchants and coalition loyalty programs like Upromise. We are very excited about this partnership with Upromise and the opportunity to provide a way for Upromise's 9 million members to save for college by spending in-store at major retailers and restaurants," said Jonathan Treiber, Executive Vice President of Business Development and Co-founder at RevTrax.
"Upromise is committed to providing new ways for our partner companies to drive customer acquisition and build customer loyalty and for members to save money for college. RevTrax will enable us to offer great value to both groups", said Evan Weisenfeld, Senior Vice President Business Development at Upromise.
