'Broken Silence' Signs Two Year Recording Deal With R.S.R. Group

New York: Florida based rock band "Broken Silence" signs with R.S.R. Recording Group. Deal well accepted by both the Company and the Band.

Florida based music group 'Broken Silence' penned a two year recording deal with Risen Son Records this week. The band, known for their strong live performances and ever growing following, will release their national debut Early 2009.

Interest in the band has been growing since the release of their self titled 3 song Demo. The sound of the band has been called "Modern and Edgy" and recent critique has been very positive. Band spokesperson and drummer Josh Posey remarked, "We're very pleased with the deal and ready for the studio again" Posey, along with vocalist / bassist Maury Littleton, guitarist Jamie Richardson and guitarist Ryan Wood comprise the foursome.

Risen Son spokesperson Ben Hodge said, "These guys are talented artists and we're grateful for the opportunity to work with the band We're eager to hear the release in it's completion." Hodge went on to say the songs are "really great" and that "The guys will be in the studio next week, so the next couple months will be a lot of hard work".
The label has not announced a release date, but Hodge did go on to say that a single will be released shortly after Christmas. Another label source stated that a distribution deal has been reached, but would not comment further.

Recording will be done at RSR Recording Studios in Port St Joe, Florida, with Thomas McEniry both Producing and Engineering the project. Mastering for the release will be done at Sterling Sound in New York.
