The VotersforMcCainwithoutPalin.com web site was launched on September 29th. Voters who would vote for John McCain only if he remove Sarah Palin from the ticket can let their voice be heard by contacting the McCain campaign via email. The VotersforMcCainwithoutPalin.com web page exists solely to provide easy access to sending an email request to the 2008 McCain election campaign with a message as plain and simple as the web site - "remove Sarah Palin from the ticket and you (John McCain) will earn our vote."
The web site provides a direct link to the McCain campaign web site contact page where users can fill out the online form and send their message to the campaign. The web site also provides a link to info @ johnmccain.com, which when clicked, launches the end user's email client to facilitate sending a message to the McCain campaign via their personal email.
The web site is no-frills by design and is simple text with a white background. The design is intended to focus on the site's purpose without distraction or undue influence.
The VotersforMcCainwithoutPalin.com web site is hosted by an individual who is not affiliated with the Republican or Democratic party. The site is for information purposes only and is not for profit. The site's creator simply believes in the right to free speech and the right to vote, and wishes to support John McCain but cannot so long as Sarah Palin is on the ticket. Feeling powerless to affect a change to the ticket individually, the site's creator thought the VotersforMcCainwithoutPalin.com web site could potentially affect change to the McCain ticket by making it easy for others to voice their desires to the campaign directly.
