Financial Services Career Event - 18 October:
Singapore's reputation as a leading International Financial Centre is well-known, with many of the world's largest and most reputable financial institutions having operations here. Home to more than 600 multinational financial institutions, the financial services industry accounted for more than 12% of Singapore's GDP in 2007 and Singapore's financial sector grew by a phenomenal 16.9% in 2007. The industry is growing in many diversified areas, ranging from wealth and asset management to equity, bond, foreign exchange and derivative markets to reinsurance and captive insurance. The total assets of financial institutions based in Singapore amounted to S$1.9 trillion by end 2007.

DBS Bank, the General Insurance Association, Monetary Authority of Singapore, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Hudson will be hiring graduating students as well as professionals in the financial services industry. Legal Services Career Event - 1 November:
Singapore has, in the recent years, developed a reputation as a key hub in the global legal landscape and it has been garnering international recognition for its efficient judiciary and legal system. The city-state has become one of the jurisdictions of choice for the adjudication and arbitration of trans-border disputes. Some of the major multinational law firms have established bases in Singapore.
Looking ahead, Singapore is ready to further expand its pool of talent and top legal minds in order to meet the demands of the rapid growth of the legal sector. Contact Singapore is partnering the Singapore Legal Service to present the vast opportunities in Singapore's legal industry. Participants will get to meet and engage in discussions with some of the key thought leaders in Singapore's legal services sector, including Chief Justice Chan Sek Keong and Judge of Appeal Justice V K Rajah. The event will be held on 1 November in London.
Engineering & Technology Career Event - 21 November:
In the areas of Engineering & Technology, Singapore offers a wide array of career opportunities due to the strong manufacturing base it has built up over the years. The manufacturing sector contributes a quarter of the city-state's GDP, focusing on high-value, high-tech, innovation- and capital-intensive activities. The key pillars of Singapore's manufacturing industry includes sectors such as electronics, chemicals, aerospace, marine and precision engineering. The Economic Development Board has in recent years, also set about growing exciting new industries such as clean technology, environment & water technology and info-communications and media.
