Rachel's Challenge, a school program that empowers students from K-12 to use kindness and compassion to promote positive cultural change in their community and schools, will be holding a community event in Los Angeles on September 30th 2008 at 7PM at the Mountain Gate Country Club.

Inspired by the life and writings of Rachel Joy Scott, a student who lost her life in the Columbine School shooting in April of '99, Rachel's Challenge has expanded one student's vision into an emotional and moving curriculum that has positively impacted the lives of millions of students nationwide. With a focus on making kindness and compassion a way of life, Rachel's Challenge purpose is to address the issues of bullying and school violence and promote an atmosphere fertile for effective learning. The curriculum is dynamic, focused, interactive and inspiring and has promoted over 120,000 deliberate and documented acts of kindness in one of the many school districts that the program has been deployed.

On September 30th 2008 in Los Angeles, California, Director of Business Development for Rachel's Challenge, Dave Gamache will be exciting attendees to support one of America's largest youth inspiring programs.

President and creator of Aderra Inc. "Live Events in a Flash" ™, Ed Donnelley, got wind of the upcoming event and was moved to further enhance Dave's message by donating profits for a Rachel's Challenge branded USB wristband. The USB wristband will contain several videos promoting the school program and Friends of Rachel along with information for potential donors.
It's a cause that inherently motivates people to act. Generated by the thoughts and writings of a young girl who was wise beyond her years, Rachel's Challenge is one that is nearly impossible to ignore. http://www.aderra.net

"I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way and show compassion, it will start a chain reaction of the same. People will never know how far a little kindness will go." - Rachel Joy Scott.
