Advanced Systems, Inc. Awarded $12.6 Million US Central Command Support Contract

In a statement issued today, Advanced Systems, Inc.'s (ASI) President, Dr. Robert Walker, announced that Advanced Systems, Inc. (ASI) has been awarded a four and a half year, $12.6 million contract to support the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Directorate of Operations (J3), Command and Control (C2) Division.

In a statement issued today, Advanced Systems, Inc.'s (ASI) President, Dr. Robert Walker, announced that Advanced Systems, Inc. (ASI) has been awarded a four and a half year, $12.6 million contract to support the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Directorate of Operations (J3), Command and Control (C2) Division. ASI will assist the Commander, USCENTCOM by providing Information Management and technical support services to various functional areas within Headquarters MacDill AFB, Florida as well as temporary duty support to locations worldwide, including USCENTCOM Forward Headquarters in Doha Qatar. Northrop Grumman Technical Services, the previous incumbent contractor, will be a supporting contractor to ASI for this effort. In making the announcement, Dr. Walker commented that CENTCOM's use of the VETS GWAC vehicle provides further affirmation the service disabled small businesses have the technical and management skills necessary to support even the most critical national security operations, and the ability to form effective partnerships to provide coverage for larger and more complex projects.
