Redwood City, CA (PRWEB) October 2, 2008
Next Step, a leading business growth consulting firm, today announced that CEO Jennifer Vessels will be presenting at Oslo Innovation Week, 13 - 16 October 2008 in Oslo, Norway.
Vessels will present at three conference events, including delivery of a key note covering best practices used successfully by Norwegian companies preparing to enter US markets. The Next Step CEO will also participate in a round table discussion alongside some of the ICT industry's most successful companies including FAST, a Microsoft subsidiary, and Tandberg Telecom.
Next Step, along with their affiliate Abelia, will offer a four-hour workshop entitled "Succeeding in the US Market" in conjunction with Innovation Week. This workshop is for company executives and entrepreneurs currently working in or considering expansion into the US. Leveraging Next Step's best practices and experience launching European companies in the US, the program will provide practical advice to improve the results of Nordic companies' doing business in the US.
"Executives often believe that because their company's offering is successful within Norway or Europe, the appeal will be just as great in international markets. This can be a dangerous assumption and a painful lesson that many companies have learned at great cost. Working with firms like Next Step can help them to avoid these pitfalls - and get things right the first time." said Jason Turflinger, AmCham Norway.
"For over 10 years, Next Step's focus has been to facilitate strategic growth in companies by helping them understand the special challenges associated with entering new markets, especially markets in the US," said Vessels. "Our workshops provide real-world strategies and techniques to save time and money during a successful launch into new markets."
