Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon until 1972) is home to some of the best teas in the world because of its unique set of topographic and geographic conditions there. According to Jacobs, the unique, pure flavor of the tea is as unique as the garden that produces it. How the leaves are cultivated and fermented is different from garden to garden but the quality and taste are undeniable.
Plucker's Pick tea leaves are fresh because they are minimally handled before serving - only when picked and packaged. Packaging takes place at the source of the leaves, sooner than any other tea, so less light and moisture affects the tea, leaving it fresh and flavorful.
