Calvin Rowland, 31, of Bolingbrook, Ill., won the coveted spot. He was selected from a wide array of entries from NASCAR fans around the country. His fan loyalty led to Rowland being featured as a weekly guest columnist during NASCAR's Chase For The Sprint Cup.

His essay was selected by's editorial staff based on originality, creativity and fan spirit.
