Collage Exhibition: "The Art of War: Iraq, Decisions from the First Year" By Artist George Sakkal In Columbia Art Center Galleries Columbia, Maryland

Columbia Art Center Galleries will feature in October a collage exhibition that captures the tenor of America's society today following the past six years of war and deals not only with the decisions of the first year, but portrays the aftermath of war and its impact on society.

Columbia, MD (PRWEB) October 1, 2008 -- Columbia Art Center Gallereis features "The Art of War: Iraq, Decisions from the FIrst Year" a solo exhibition of collages by Maryland artists George Sakkal, October 16-November 16, 2008. A reception for the show will be held on Saturday, November 1, 5-8pm.

This exhibition has been five years in production by internationally recognized artist George Sakkal. The show captures the tenor of our society today following six years of war and deals not only with the decisions of the first year, but also prortrays the aftermath of war.
