My business has always been about helping entrepreneurs. With BIZKIDZ.COM, I get to be part of helping some of the youngest entrepreneurs in the world!

BIZKIDZ, Inc., a San Jose, California company, announced the launch of BIZKIDZ.COM (http://www.bizkidz.com), a website offering the opportunity for children to create their own online store and earn real money. By choosing the design look, the fixtures, and determining products for the shelves, kids now have the opportunity to earn money by marketing their store to their friends and family. The website goes live this month. The seed for the idea of BIZKIDZ.COM began when Linda Raasch, mother of four, helped her children learn business skills by operating a lemonade stand in the summer months. She watched and listened to the lessons her children learned over the years about how to run a small business and more importantly, the lessons learned about making money.

"The idea of giving all children the opportunity to design and manage their own store is the core idea behind BIZKIDZ.COM. Today's reality is that most kids no longer have the opportunity to have a paper route or mow lawns to make money -- their time is limited due to many after school activities. Our children are more familiar with the internet than they are their own front yards! Knowing that our kids are online in their spare time, why not offer the opportunity to allow them to earn money while doing what they already know and enjoy," says Linda Raasch, Chief of BIZ for the company.

Linda Raasch is the wife of Ken Raasch, who with partner artist, Thomas Kinkade, created America's largest art company and later started Creative Brands Group, a brand development and management company. Ken's participation in BIZKIDZ.COM includes his expertise in brand building. He states, "There is no real brand in the market which means business and kids -- BIZKIDZ.COM aims to be that brand."

Linda, with Ken's encouragement, propelled this idea into action by consulting Marty M. Fahncke, President of FawnKey & Associates, a leading expert in electronic retailing and social media marketing. "When I first heard the idea of BIZKIDZ.COM, I knew I had to be involved. BIZKIDZ.COM is a revolutionary way to allow children to be creative, be educated, and earn money. My business has always been about helping entrepreneurs. With BIZKIDZ.COM, I get to be part of helping some of the youngest entrepreneurs in the world!"

Joining the team to create this unique website for children is creative and technical partner, 360KID, the Massachusetts-based award winning development company with years of experience creating interactive, educational, and technically savvy projects with such notable brands such as Pokémon, Nickelodeon, and Sesame Street. 360KID has extensive knowledge and experience in the design and development of large-scale immersive websites.

Scott Traylor, President and CEO of 360KID, states, "BIZKIDZ.COM stands alone in its uniqueness -- there is no other place out there to find a fun, innovative space to teach children business skills while they create their own store and take on the role of an actual entrepreneur. Websites that are engaging and that address the knowledge necessary for financial literacy are so needed in the market today. BIZKIDZ.COM, with its creative emphasis on learning while earning money, is sure to be the most innovative and compelling site to fill this market void."

Our vision is that 10 years from now, the founder of the hottest new technology company will say that they got their business start on BIZKIDZ.COM.
