Overland Park, KS (PRWEB) October 6, 2008
The executive career firm of Berkeley Palmer of Overland Park Kansas has released their third quarter executive career placement results.
According to Berkeley Palmer the results for executive career transition for July through September shows a decrease of 22% for the same period last year according to their clients who have reported making a career decision. Berkeley Palmer feels that this may just be a leveling out from the unusually high second quarter results, which showed a 60% increase over last year. A spokesperson for the organization said, "Our numbers are still well ahead of last year."
When compared to the overall performance of their affiliates for the third quarter, Berkeley Palmer is a little behind. "Our affiliates showed a decrease of only 3.7 percentage points for the same period last year," according to Berkeley Palmer.
The Berkeley Palmer reminds everyone however, that these results only reflect the outcome of their clients who have received professional assistance in their search, and may not reflect the results for all executives. Berkeley Palmer also pointed out that the numbers for July and August kept pace with last year.
Berkeley Palmer says these results are based on the reports of executives who have reported acceptance of a new career position or those who have made a positive career decision, such as opening their own business, or accepting an internal promotion. Berkeley Palmer is not an employment agency.
