Local Chamber Endorses Republican Congressional Candidate

The Fontana Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to benefit the business community by supporting issues and actions that serve for the betterment of the local business community and the business members of our local chamber.

Fontana, Ca. (PRWEB) October 4, 2008 -- The Fontana Chamber of Commerce has supported numerous business issues, legislations, and concerns that better serve a pro business environment. That support has been in various methods such as:

Producing legislative articles in the monthly Business Journal.
Position statements and endorsement on key business issues.
Voting recommendations on legislative bills/ issues that are pro business.
Lobbying and working with all levels of legislature at the local, county, state, and federal levels on positive pro business items and actions.
Annual reporting of the pro business voting records of all state and federal legislators affecting our business community.
Conducting annual legislative trips to Sacramento to meet with legislators on concerns, issues and challenges of the business community in our region.

It is in this same pro business attitude and in answering the following question, "Does who is elected to office have the ability to influence the business climate of the members of our Chamber of Commerce," that the Fontana Area Chamber of Commerce makes this following candidate endorsement to our members.

The Board of Directors of the Fontana Area Chamber of Commerce endorses John Roberts, a long time pro business supporter in local issues and regional Inland Empire issues alike. We make this endorsement for John Roberts as a candidate for the United States Congressmen Forty-Third District, in the upcoming election on November 4, 2008.

Our endorsement is strictly one of recommendation of action and involves no financial support or use of resource funds of the organization for the endorsed candidate.

We recommend our entire business members vote for John Roberts candidate for United States Congress Forty-Third District on the upcoming election on November 4, 2008.
