The Art of the Knife

Chef Steve Rudman, a Le Cordon Bleu trained Chef and co-owner of Willoughby's Market, will share his culinary techniques and recipes in a series of intimate cooking classes. Each class will be a demonstration style, hands-on class focusing on a specific skill that will give students useful insights and recipes to expand their repertoire.
First in the series is "The Art of the Knife". This class will teach students proper use of the chef's knife. Students will learn how to peel, slice and chop, and the art of deboning a chicken. Chef Rudman will then walk each student through step by step recipe instruction to prepare a fantastic meal using skills learned in class. Instruction will culminate with a question and answer session while sharing a delightful meal with wine pairings.
The first two courses in the series will begin, Monday October 6, 2008 from 11:30am - 2:00pm and Monday, October 20, 2008 from 7:00pm -9:30. The cost of each class will be $60.00 per person. Class fees include all ingredients, lunch or dinner and wine. Seating is limited to 14 participants and is offered on a first come, first served basis.
