"While looking for a self-defense product, I came across a website for self-defense classes," recalled Smith. "From that, you could learn how to teach classes, too. Eventually, I started a store."

"It's a 3-in-1 strobe," said Smith. "It's a personal alarm. When you pull the pin, it makes a screeching noise to draw attention. It also has a light that flashes and it can be used as a flashlight."
Along with adding new products to the site, Smith has also launched a blog in conjunction with his webstore.
"Right now, I'm working on getting some informational posts on there," said Smith of www.Self-Defense-Blog.com. "I'll have articles about self-defense - techniques that work. I plan on putting articles and helpful tips on there. I will also talk about the laws and links to websites that explain the legalities of self-defense."
