OakTree Digital Wins Brandon Hall Learning Award
OakTree Digital, a leader in internet applications development, was awarded a coveted Brandon Hall bronze award for excellence in the Best Custom Content category for their entry titled "Alcohol Server Education (ASE) Course".
(PRWEB) October 5, 2008 -- OakTree Digital was recognized during a ceremony and reception held as part of the 2008 Innovations in Learning Conference, held September 24-26 in San Jose, CA.
The three hour Alcohol Server Education (ASE) online course, created and developed by OakTree Digital, makes extensive use of Flash and embedded video demonstrating real-world scenarios to simulate how to identify under-aged patrons, inebriated patrons and procedures to follow to comply with the law. The training scenes were filmed at local Portland spots Kells and McCormick and Schmick's using local union actors. The embedded video scenes deliver a realistic training experience beyond flat text and images. The course uses a train car metaphor to guide the learner through the required curriculum by associating each of the seven subject units with a different scenic location in Oregon.
