Absentee Ballots Can Pull Out a Win Using ElectionMall's Online Software

I have never seen a year like this before, where online tools have been requested from every aspect of a campaign! With every vote counting, absentee ballots are crucial to a lot of the smaller and closer races

With the presidential 2008 election being so close, getting key votes in before Election Day can make or break key swing states. Traditionally, there have been many barriers to using absentee balloting as a strategy. Typically, only highly organized campaigns with large budgets could take advantage of wide-scale absentee voting. Presidential campaigns invest thousands of dollars to implement GOTV (get out the vote) absentee ballot strategies. However, campaigns with limited resources and political parties and organizations wishing to increase voter participation could do little to use technology to impact absentee ballot. Until now.

"I have never seen a year like this before, where online tools have been requested from every aspect of a campaign! With every vote counting, absentee ballots are crucial to a lot of the smaller and closer races," says "Campaign Guru" Ravi Singh, CEO of ElectionMall.com.

For the last eight years, ElectionMall.com has been measuring the key behaviors of winning campaigns. Part of what ElectionMall realized is that besides a lack of resources, many campaigns don't have a strategy to collect absentee ballot votes because of the state and county laws and regulations on key forms, dates and regulations. Not only is this confusing for voters but more confusing for campaigns struggling to make every vote count.

To solve this problem, ElectionMall compiled a list of absentee ballot rules, regulations, PDFs, instructions and email reminders for voters. ElectionMall has made it easy for campaigns to place an Absentee Ballot Widget on their page and have voters register to receive absentee ballot information from the "absentee ballot database". Using ElectionMall's Software as a Service (SaaS), this information then sends follow up emails to remind voters of key filing dates and deadlines complying with state and local counties. ElectionMall's e-Absentee Ballot Manager software allows any size campaign to start banking these critical early votes.

Recently, ElectionMall's CEO was invited to speak at the European Union in Belgium Brussels regarding the online strategy of Obama and McCain.
