The session, presented by Brendan Clarke, ArrowStream's VP of software and Wendy Kleefeld, VP of supply chain management for Arby's Cooperative Purchasing Group, will include a foodservice supply chain discussion on how technology and collaboration across the supply chain are helping chain operators/retailers, manufacturers, and distributors improve their results.
This discussion will address solutions to battling rising food and fuel costs and offer advice on how to manage and synchronize supply chains. Audience members will leave with an understanding of how foodservice trading partners can generate inbound freight savings of 20 percent and how one technology solution can manage and synchronize their supply chains, helping them make well-informed decisions. Case studies that will be featured in addition to Arby's include Church's Chicken, Applebee's and the SYGMA Network, a subsidiary of SYSCO.
The CSCMP Annual Global Conference 2008, held in Denver, CO, is hosted by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and is the premier supply chain professional education and networking event. This year, more than 3,500 supply chain professionals from around the world will be in attendance.
