EMS Consulting Group Announces 2009 Lean Manufacturing and Lean Office Certificate Programs in Southern California
EMS Consulting Group, Inc. has just announced two public Lean certificate programs beginning in February 2009 in Orange County, CA. The programs will assist companies with the challenge of implementing lean and maintaining continuous improvements in manufacturing, service, and office environments.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 8, 2008 -- EMS Consulting Group, Inc. has just announced two public Lean certificate programs beginning in February 2009 in Orange County, CA. The programs will assist companies with the challenge of implementing lean and maintaining continuous improvements in manufacturing, service, and office environments.
"We are offering our lean manufacturing certification program for the sixth consecutive year," said Darren Dolcemascolo, Sr. Partner with EMS Consulting Group, Inc. Lean manufacturing certification participants will learn how to apply the key techniques of lean manufacturing: Value Stream Mapping, Lean Production Control and Inventory Management, One-Piece Flow, Cellular Manufacturing, Material Flow and Kanban, Five S, SMED/Quick Changeover, Total Productive Maintenance, and Kaizen Events and tools. Lean Certification also requires participants to complete lean manufacturing projects at their own companies to reinforce the classroom learning.
"We have had significant interest in a program that will help attendees improve business processes outside of manufacturing," said Dolcemascolo. "We have decided to include a lean office certificate program that covers lean basics, value stream mapping, kaizen events, Five S, visual controls, and flow and pull principles as they apply to administrative environments. This program, like our lean manufacturing certification program, will require completion of a project."
The program will take place at the Doubletree Club Hotel Orange County Airport in Santa Ana, CA. Dates for the lean manufacturing certification program are February 11-12; March 11-12; April 8-9; and May 6-7. The lean office certification program dates are February 11; March 10-11; and May 7.
Pricing is $2695 per person for the lean manufacturing certificate program and $1595 per person for the lean office certificate program. Participants who register prior to the December 31, 2008 will be eligible for a $200 discount. Multiple attendee discounts are also available.
