In this new role, Ian will be responsible for all aspects of the company's global marketing strategy and execution.
Mr. Suttie brings to Destiny over 20 years experience in marketing, sales, business development and general management, gained at a number of successful software companies. He has extensive experience in Canadian, US and international markets and his background spans a variety of b2b verticals as well as the higher education and eCommerce markets.
Ian started his career at S-S Technologies, where, as VP Sales & Marketing and later as President, he led the company's growth from start-up to a mature company with global operations. Mr. Suttie has also held a number of other executive positions, including CEO of Waterloo Maple, COO of PCI Geomatics and VP Marketing & Sales of Electronics Workbench, and has been elected to the Boards of Directors of several high-profile industry associations and standards committees. He currently serves as a volunteer member of the MaRS Advisory Services Group where he consults with emerging technology companies on strategic, marketing and operational issues.
