Business Training Library Announces Client Awards

Business Training Library was pleased to recognize the outstanding training and development achievements of three distinguished clients at their inaugural client conference, Align 2008, which was held in St. Louis, Missouri this September.

Chesterfield, MO (PRWEB) October 8, 2008 -- Business Training Library was pleased to recognize the outstanding training and development achievements of three distinguished clients at their inaugural client conference, Align 2008, which was held in St. Louis, Missouri this September. Award recipients include OPERS (Ohio Public Employees Retirement System) of Columbus, Ohio, CLARCOR of Franklin, Tennessee, and AIM Healthcare, also of Franklin, Tennessee.

Business Training Library recognized the outstanding achievements of OPERS' leadership development initiatives with the Leadership Development Excellence Award. OPERS is Ohio's largest pension system, providing secure retirement benefits to thousands of members. Partnering with Business Training Library in 2004, OPERS set out to create an e-learning program for its managers and leadership team that would foster skill development and brainstorming, as well as coaching and strategic growth. They hired a consultant to conduct blended learning sessions, and remained committed to their employee development goals. As a result of their efforts, OPERS has made great strides in building their leadership and management teams, and facilitating strategic communication that has a direct impact on overall business objectives.

CLARCOR, a global provider of filtration products, received the 2008 Learning Leader Award. CLARCOR partnered with Business Training Library in 2006 to launch an e-learning initiative for its employees. In the past two years, CLARCOR has unveiled seven site designs customizing Business Training Library's Learning Management System (LMS) to provide maximum usability for its employees, who are accessing hundreds of business and professional skills development courses. They also established a monthly forum for sharing e-learning best practices and soliciting employee feedback. As a result of their dedicated vision to provide a high quality and engaging e-learning experience for their employees, CLARCOR has consistently achieved development successes, including higher employee retention.

AIM Healthcare, recipient of Business Training Library's Initiative Excellence Award, is the leading provider of claims cost management services for government and commercial payors of healthcare benefits. From the beginning of their partnership in 2006, AIM Healthcare challenged Business Training Library to provide a swift and smooth e-learning implementation to over 300 of its employees. AIM offers a core curriculum chosen each year, and tracks thousands of classroom-based courses in the LMS, in addition to their e-learning activities. Their knowledgeable training staff underwent extensive training to create their own high-quality custom e-learning courses using Business Training Library's authoring tool, Lectora. AIM Healthcare has created a strong training culture focused on learning and development and talent management that support their strategic initiatives across multiple lines of business.

The Align 2008 Conference was a tremendous success, bringing together e-learning clients from across the nation in order to learn more about Business Training Library's services and solutions, as well as share best practices and strategies with one another. "For several years now, our clients have been telling us that one of their primary goals is to align learning with strategic business initiatives. We've responded by providing new products and technologies that help to connect learning with business objectives and achieve bottom line results," said Dean Pichee, President & CEO of Business Training Library. "Our clients are the ultimate experts on using our products and technologies to achieve business value. The Align conference was a great opportunity to bring our clients and partners together, so we can all continue to raise the bar and drive bottom-line results in our organizations."
