MNPSalumni.com is a website where alumni networks have been set up exclusively for each of the Metro Nashville Public High Schools. Nashville high school alumni are very excited and can't get enough of their school's network.

People can visit their high school's alumni network, setup a profile to reconnect and communicate with old classmates that they have not seen or heard from in years. People are reconnecting with old high school teammates, cheerleaders, band members, SGA members and more. Some of the features of each network include uploading family photos & videos, blog writing, starting forums, setting up events such as class reunions and much more. "We wanted to provide the alumni of Nashville high schools the opportunity to reconnect with one another in one exclusive place online and that is why we created separate networks for each school. Something like this was long overdue." says Lamonte Frierson, Director of Marketing & Sales for Rebirth Media Group.

Alumni networks have been set up for ten Nashville High Schools on http://www.mnpsalumni.com with more to come:

Whites Creek (Cobrapride.com); Overton (Bobcatroundup.com); Hillwood (Hillwoodroundup.com); Maplewood (PantherHigh.com); Glencliff (ColtPride.com); Stratford (stratfordroundup.com); Hillsboro (burropride.com); McGavock (raiderhigh.com); Hunters Lane (warriorhigh.com); Pearl Cohn & Pearl High (Pearlhigh.com).

You can also get high school alumni apparel & merchandise from http://www.myhighschoolstuff.com.

The total combined membership for all alumni networks is about 5,000 and growing. "People are signing up each and every day and becoming addicted to their school's network. The great Cory Fleming, who played football & basketball for Stratford and then went on to have a terrific football career at Tennessee and in the pros, has signed on to the Stratford network." says Lamonte. "It's a beautiful thing to catch up with all of your old classmates without having to wait for 10 or 20 year reunion." Below are a few comments of what people are saying about the networks:

"Thanks Cobra Pride this is a great site! I missed my 10 year class reunion and this has been a great resource for catching up with all my old friends. I really appreciate all of your efforts. It has certainly reignited my Cobra Pride!"
Niccole (Gardner) McMichael

"Thanks for doing this. I tell everyone (WCHS Alumnae) about the page. A wonderful idea and a great way to reconnect with old classmates and to find out what's going on at "The Creek." Thanks again.... :)"
Michelle Cummings Steele

"Cobra Pride, you are a blessing to us! You have used your talent and expertise to bring us all back together once again. I have reconnected with friends I haven't seen or heard from since the days we roamed the halls. Who am I kidding...I never roamed any halls...straight to class for me :-) LOL!"

Anyway, thank you for providing a venue for WCHS alumni to stay in touch with one another!
