Prominent Placement, Inc., (PPI) a leading Atlanta search engine marketing firm announced today that Sherry Hopkins has been named the company's business manager. She has been an account manager with the firm since September 2006.
In her new role, Sherry will help guide and implement the company's overall strategic plan via series of operational, marketing, and new business development initiatives. She also provides support to the company's team of account managers across PPI's entire client roster. Sherry is a volunteer contributor to the Online Marketing Council (OMC), an organization of marketing professionals who foster best practices, peer collaboration and generally raising the bar of education in all the domains of online marketing.
With a wide variety of marketing and advertising experience with agencies and corporations alike, Sherry's past work includes marketing direction for a 28-store specialty retail chain. In her most recent position before joining Prominent Placement, she was in charge of agency web development production teams, account management, media buying, and copy writing for clients such as The Georgia Lottery Corporation, LA Fitness, Delta Air Lines Supplier Diversity, and the Georgia Women's Business Council. She holds a B.B.A. degree from East Tennessee State University.
