Offering services once thought of as only available to movie stars and celebrities, new company REQUISITE's custom clothing is creating buzz all over Los Angeles

Most of the suits found in stores today rarely fit the consumer and even after alterations it still doesn't sit quite right

When we see stars walk down the red carpet looking incredible, it's missed for the most part, that every piece of clothing they are wearing was specifically tailored, picked and chosen for them by a team of stylist and designers. This becomes mass marketing for big brand names as they dress the beautiful and the famous, offering services and clothing not available to the everyday person.

That's exactly why new boutique clothing brand REQUISITE is making a name for its self all over Los Angeles. Offering custom services once available only to the super elite, they create clothing built and designed for each individual customer. REQUISITE and its designers meet each of its customers on a one-on-one basis, taking the time to discover what type of cuts and looks would best showcase the customer. Measurements are taken and the designers sketch and dream up apparel resulting in "one-of" clothing. The end result is a shopping experience with the feel of something a lot more expensive and exclusive than it is.

"It was definitely a great experience" says Steve Sloan, a litigator based in Los Angeles, who ordered his first Custom Suit. "I always thought I was an off the rack guy, but the difference between the cut and fit is dramatic!"

REQUISITE wants people to know that this is an option that is available to everybody.

Dept. stores usually carry only a limited selection of suits all of which will be even more limited when it comes to styling. Large retail suit stores will only carry 100 suits at most per size. REQUISITE offers up to 4000 choices and all will be in the customer's exact size.

"Most of the suits found in stores today rarely fit the consumer and even after alterations it still doesn't sit quite right" say Jeric Rivera, Senior Designer with REQUISITE.

"The perfect fit of our custom suits and all the different options allows for the individuality of our clients to really stand out."

Since nothing is made until a designer meets the client, all of the clothing can be geared toward showing off the client's strengths and minimizing the things on their body that one might be self conscious about. Put that together with a countless amount of possible combinations from the different fabrics, patterns, lapels, pockets etc. and the choices can be intimidating. But the ability to have input into every step of the process is what makes the finished product that much more special.

"I'm a big guy, and finding clothes that are comfortable can be hard for me," says Omar Romero, a restaurant owner. "Forget about finding anything unique, I just want to find clothing that fits"

Currently there are other choices for custom made suits, a quick search on the internet and one can find tons of websites. They run the gambit, from local tailors to traveling salesmen holding up in hotel rooms to overseas factories that encourage you to send your measurements that you have taken yourself. The latter of which Senior REQUISITE designer Rivera is quick to laugh off. "So much of this (measuring for a custom suit) can be very scientific but a great amount of it is instinct, I've done it countless times and achieving a perfect fit is still tough. Recommending that some one take their own measurements is like a barber recommending that customers should cut his own hair"

Rivera adds "We revolve around a personal one-on-one philosophy and we follow through on every step of the process, we do the measurements, we do the fitting, we do the adjustments if needed…and six months or a year down the road if you have any questions, or concerns or if you just want to know what color tie would best match what outfit, expect that your designer will be there to help you."

With that uncompromising customer service philosophy and unique custom clothing approach, it's easy to see why REQUISITE clothing is quickly creating a fanatical following all over Los Angeles.

Ivan Guevara, a real estate investor had this to say "I'm actually spending less than I used to for my Suits and…they fit and feel better!"

REQUISTE Clothing is based in Los Angeles and is by appt. only 800-617-6313
