The certification was awarded by SGS United Kingdom Limited - Systems & Services Certification, the U.K. subsidiary of SGS, the world's leading inspection, verification and certification company.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) established ISO 9001:2000 as a family of standards that state generic requirements for instituting a company's quality management system. ISO 9001:2000 is now firmly established as the globally implemented standard for providing assurance on an organization's ability to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction in supplier-customer relationships.

GDC Technology (Shenzhen) Limited received ISO 9001:2000 certification on August 4th 2008 after undergoing thorough audits on its manufacturing and management processes by the certification company.
