Life Meets Work and Ask Liz Ryan launched a survey today to gauge opinion about the work/life issues affecting the everyday lives of American families. "While the candidates debate the financial crisis, bailout plans and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, American families struggle to meet the daily demands of work and family," says Kyra Cavanaugh, president of Life Meets Work, an online community for flexible workers and the companies that employ them.

Launched during National Work and Family Month (October), the survey is designed to capture the opinions of both American workers and employers regarding work/life challenges, flexible work programs, and the role of government in work/life policies.

The results of the survey will be revealed in a free webinar on October 28, 2008. For more information, go to the survey link: http://www.tinyurl.com/lmwsurvey .
