Hanley Wood Releases Key Findings of Annual M2 Study

Hanley Wood, LLC, the leading media and information company serving the housing and construction industries, announces the release of its annual M2 study on how construction professionals use media.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) October 11, 2008 -- Hanley Wood, LLC, the leading media and information company serving the housing and construction industries, announces the release of its annual M2 study.

Commissioned by Hanley Wood and conducted by global research firm Harris Interactive, M² examined 12 information sources to learn which options are most valued by builders, architects, remodelers, and distributors at each stage of the process.

The study, just released in July, illustrates what's of importance when planning your media and marketing strategy to reach the builder audience. Some findings include:

- A majority of respondents say their business is on par with or better than last year.
- Most anticipate their company's financial conditions to improvements in seven to 18 months.
- Trade magazines remain their most important resource overall.
- Trade Web sites, however, capture 25% more time.

In a tough market, every sale counts more than ever. Every marketing dollar must perform; each decision carries enormous weight. Basing those decisions on the right data can make the difference between marketing momentum and business inertia.

The top line results are presented by consultant Elda Vale, President of EV Associates, a research consulting firm in New York City.

You'll leave assured that your next media and marketing plan will put its weight where your buyers are.
