Onya BagsTM reusable bags have been introduced to the U.S. by Onya Bags USA's founder, Kristin Gasser. Gasser lived in the United Kingdom for two years and saw Onya BagsTM everywhere. When a friend gave her one as a gift, she was sold.
"Reusable bags have been a part of my life for over twenty years. But not until I had Onya BagsTM was I consistent in bringing and using my reusable bags," said Gasser.
"In the UK, I walked everywhere and always had to carry things," Gasser recalls. Gasser was so impressed by Onya BagsTM that she contacted Onya headquarters in Australia, Onya Innovations, regarding a U.S. distributorship. After weeks of planning and negotiations and a move back to the U.S., Gasser established the new company in Grafton, Wisconsin, near Milwaukee.
